Darlington....Did you know - Darlington is a market town and apart of County Durham. Its historical name was Dearthington but was changed to Darlington many years later.
Darlington is heralded as having the worlds first railway which now forms a part of the East Coast Mainline. The Quakers had a strong connection with Darlington during the Victorian era, one family donated a landmark building (the clock tower) and another gave backing for South Park.
